In full accordance with GDPR regulations and Apple AppStore Guidelines, you have complete control over your data. Account deletion is available directly in both our Mobile App (iOS & Android) and Web Portal. The process is permanent and irreversible.

How to Delete Your Account

Follow these simple steps to permanently delete your ChtSafe account. The same process works across all platforms—mobile app and web portal.

Visit the Portal
Navigate to portal.chtsafe.com in your web browser, or open the ChtSafe mobile app on your iOS or Android device.

Sign In
Log in to your ChtSafe account using your credentials. You must be authenticated to access account deletion settings.

Open Account Settings
Click on your profile icon or the "Account Settings" menu. This is typically located in the top-right corner of the interface.

Navigate to Account Deletion
In the Account Settings modal, look for the "Account Deletion" or "Data" tab. Click on it to access the deletion options.

Initiate Deletion
Click the "Delete Account" button. You will be asked to confirm this action by entering your email address for verification.

Confirm Deletion
Type your email address exactly as registered and confirm the deletion. This ensures you're intentionally deleting your account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

All Conversations
Every chat, prompt, and AI response
Account Settings
Preferences, configurations, and customizations
API Keys
All generated API keys and tokens
Encrypted Session Data
All encrypted blobs and session keys
Account Information
Email, profile data, and authentication records
Billing Information
Subscription cancelled, payment methods removed

Important: This Action is Permanent

  • Irreversible: Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered
  • Data Loss: All conversations and settings will be permanently lost
  • Immediate Effect: Billing stops immediately, no refunds for partial periods
  • Consider Exporting: You may want to export your data before deletion

How long does the deletion process take?
Account deletion is immediate. Once you confirm the deletion, your account and all associated data are permanently removed from our systems within seconds. You will be automatically logged out.
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your account and all data cannot be recovered. If you want to use ChtSafe again, you will need to create a new account.
What happens to my subscription and billing?
Your subscription is immediately cancelled upon account deletion. Any active subscriptions will be terminated, and no further charges will be made. Please note that we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
Can I export my data before deleting my account?
Yes! Before deleting your account, you can export your conversation history and other data. In the Account Settings, navigate to the "Data" tab where you'll find options to download your data in various formats. We recommend exporting your data before proceeding with account deletion.
